Currently: Adelaide SA · 209 DAYS to 100 km

G'day, I'm Mark. I keep saying yes to things, then filming what happens.

Vegan meals, long runs, vanlife, wrong turns. Road trips around Australia, filmed from a HiAce.

The trip didn't go to plan. This one's about turning the van around, and why that was the right call.

Coming up

In the van

An off-grid power and solar setup video. I'll film what gets installed, and whether it actually runs the week.

Two ways in

Mostly it's vanlife. Sometimes it's a long run, or a vegan meal at a servo.

Vanlife

The first big trip in a 2019 HiAce. A lap north that didn't quite go to plan, and the honest bits about living and working from a van.

Road to 100

In September I ran 56 km on about seven weeks of training. It went better than it had any right to. So naturally I've entered a 100 km race on 15 May 2027. I'll show you every bit of it, including the ugly bits.

About

The van's still here.

A bloke in his 40s. Adelaide-based, always on the road. Vegan eating, long runs, and a van some of the time. I work in SEO and keep entering things I'm underqualified for.

It's just not the whole story anymore. (And yes, it's Waz with a z.)

not an expert. just there.

Work with me

Gear I've taken out has been somewhere hard and come back.

If your product can survive corrugations, red dust and me, let's talk. Got something that's been somewhere hard? I'd love to try it the honest way.
